Vermont Housing & Conservation Board Announces $384,000 in Grants for Infrastructure Improvements on Vermont Dairy Farms
Governor Peter Shumlin joined the Vermont Farm & Forest Viability Programon the Sizen Farm in St. Albans on July 17 to announce $384,831 in grant awards to 17 farmers for projects to construct, expand, repair or upgrade facilities to improve herd management, working conditions, and cow health. Request for Workshop Proposals for NOFA-VT 2015 Winter Conference
The Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the 2015 Winter Conference, taking place February 14 & 15, 2015 at the University of Vermont, Burlington VT. Attracting over 1,500 farmers, gardeners, homesteaders, and localvores, the Winter Conference is the largest agricultural conference in Vermont and a staple of the winter for the local foods community.
