Boston Public Market

The Vermont Agency of Agriculture is exploring a potential partnership with a Vermont business and/or a collaboration of Vermont businesses to develop, implement and operate a Vermont sourced food stand at Boston Public Market starting in spring 2015.  The attached Request for Interest is an effort to gather information to gauge the level of interest and capacity among Vermont businesses.

This specific initiative is part of the state of Vermont’s strategic effort increase the export of Vermont food and agricultural products to domestic regions such as Boston, New York City and beyond.  The Boston Public Market is a permanent, year-round, self-sustaining market featuring fresh locally-sourced food brought directly to and from the diversity of people from Massachusetts and throughout New England.  The market is expected to open June 2015.
