Join us at VTSU's Center for Agriculture and Food Entrepreneurship (CAFE) for a two-day workshop - Introduction to Butchering I: Poultry, Goat, and Lamb, at Roma's Butchery, on September 9th-10th, 2024!

This workshop, led by Elizabeth Roma of Roma's Butchery in South Royalton VT, is part one of a series on introductory butchering. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on training in the basics of butchering these meats. Participants will receive a certificate of completion, and can take home their prepared meats and an entry-level knife.

If you're keen to dive into butchering or just want to learn some new skills, this could be a great start!

This is the first session in our three-part butchering series. The next session, Introduction to Butchering II: Pork, will take place on September 23rd-24th. The final session, Introduction to Butchering III: Beef, is scheduled for October 7th-8th.
