Vermont Food System Podcast Releases 2nd Season

Vermont Farmers Food Center and Shrewsbury Agricultural Education & Arts Foundation, (SAGE), have teamed up again after the success of the first ten episode installmant of "Root Words." Both organizations share a goal of reconnecting the public with their foodways and they have created a platform to hear from community members, from all parts of the food system, that are growing in, eating in, and reimagining in our regional food system.  

Season 2 of Root Words will feature hunters and gathers, indigenous and decolonizing farmers, bakers and millers, and will take a closer look at land and food access, and how the act of cooking brings us closer together.
