Slow Money Vermont to host 3nd Annual Vermont Entrepreneur Showcase December 6th

Vermont working lands entrepreneurs will present their businesses to an audience of investors, service providers, and fellow entrepreneurs on December 6, 2017. A plenary panel of entrepreneurs, capital providers, and service providers will explore business owner succession planning and exit strategies, building off of key takeaways from the Farm to Plate Network Gathering. The event will be the third entrepreneur showcase convened by Slow Money Vermont.

The following entrepreneurs will be presenting:

• Zenbarn--building community from soil to soul
• Kimball Brook Farm--choose what goes into your body--and into your milk
• Metta Earth--a center for contemplative ecology and regenerative food systems
• Eden Specialty Ciders--unique expressions of extraordinary apples
• Kingdom View Compost at Tamarlane Farm--a community composter

The showcase event will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to share their stories and network with investors and service providers to help shape the future of the Vermont working lands economy. The event has a registration fee of $35. Ticket sales end Friday, 12/1/17 at 5 p.m. The showcase will run from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center on the Burlington waterfront. In addition to entrepreneur presentations, the event will include ample time for networking.  Light refreshments featuring local products will be provided by Love Local Catering, paid for by a donation from The Skinny Pancake. A cash bar will be available.
