Slow Money Vermont Announces Opening of Entrepreneur Showcase Application

The 2018 Slow Money VT Entrepreneur Showcase is an unparalleled networking and relationship-building opportunity in which real dialogue is created between entrepreneurs and investors, as well as technical assistance service providers. Working lands entrepreneurs of all stages of business development, from start-up to expansion, are welcome and encouraged to apply. Selected entrepreneurs will get the chance to tell their story to interested investors, engage in discussion with Showcase attendees, distribute collateral and promote themselves via event marketing.

Businesses like Eden Specialty Ciders and Green Mountain Organic Creamery have presented at past Slow Money Vermont showcases, expressing their excitement to connect with the SMVT network and local investors in a supportive environment. Members of the SMVT team provide one-on-one coaching with selected entrepreneurs prior to the showcase for tailored feedback and support to hone their pitch skills.

Application Deadline: October 1, 2018

Notification of Acceptance: week of October 15, 2018 you will be notified by email

Coaching with Slow Money experts:  October 22 - November 30, 2018

Showcase in Brattleboro: December 5, 2018,  5:30-8:00 p.m.

APPLICATION FEE:

There is a non-refundable $25 fee to apply. If you are not chosen to present, we still strongly encourage you to attend and this $25 fee will serve as your registration fee for the event. Check or money order should be made payable to Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund and sent at time of application to the Via Mail address below.
