Registration Opens for Growing Places Classes for Aspiring Farmers and Start-ups
Are you considering starting an agriculture or natural resource-based business, but are unsure where to start? Growing Places will help you develop a comprehensive goal statement that will help in the business planning process, and will explore and evaluate opportunities and resources available to Vermont farmers. Classes are held Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 8:30 pm in Berlin and Northfield, VT. The first class is Oct. 2, 2014.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited. The registration fee is $110 per person if received by Sept. 14, 2014. After that date registration will be $150. A check or money order reserves your space at the course. To register, send your check, made payable to UVM Extension, Growing Places, 617 Comstock Rd, Suite 5, Berlin, VT 05602. Or, you can register on-line at www.uvm.edu/newfarmer.
