Early Bird Registration for Tour de Farms on Saturday, September 26th

As you may already know, the Tour de Farms is one of Vermont’s oldest cycling farm tours and is set in Addison County's rolling farmlands. The 2015 Tour, taking place on Saturday, September 26th, has a brand new 5-Town Route beginning in Bristol and coinciding with the Bristol Harvest Festival. The new 37-mile route includes 8 farm stops and 18 participating farms and restaurants sampling everything from grass-fed BBQ brisket chili to apple cider, from organic pulled pork to farm fresh pesto on artisan bread.

The Tour de Farms is the Addison County Relocalization Network's (ACORN) biggest fundraising event and helps support our Farm to School initiatives as well as Addison County's farmers and food producers.

Pre-register by September 21st at 5pm to save $20!

We are also looking for 40 volunteers to help run the event! Most volunteers can RIDE FOR FREE depending on their position, and all volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and will automatically be entered to win a raffle of donations and gift certificates from our sponsors, including:

  • Farmhouse Group of restaurants
  • Dinner for two at the Juniper Bar & Restaurant at Hotel Vermont
  • Citizen Cider Tasting Room
  • Healthy Living Market and Cafe
  • Bee's Wrap
If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here.

Thanks and we hope to see you out at the farms on September 26th.
