Coloring Community: Celebrate Agriculture in Vermont
The Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) works in all aspects of the food system in support of rural food businesses, farms, and communities. They work alongside neighbors and partners in Vermont to cultivate interdependence, take risks, and initiate change.
This giving season, we want to celebrate you, the community, and all the ways we collectively work to lift up, honor, and engage the local food economy. Because we are connected to the land and roots in Vermont, we all play a role in getting food from farm to fork, and that's something worth celebrating and CAE is celebrating by putting on a coloring contest! The pastoral image encourages people of all ages to get together and color. You can pick up a coloring page at the Jeudevine Library in Hardwick, or download the file from CAE’s website, and return it in person or online through December 31. All of the entries will be featured in an online gallery and in store windows in downtown Hardwick. (A few entries will even win prizes!)
Add some joy to your day and some color to the dark days of December.
