This is a new position that will deliver educational programs, develop outreach materials, and provide one on one technical assistance to help vegetable and berry farmers successfully participate in programs offered by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) of Vermont. 

This is a 1.0 FTE, 12-month, professional staff position with full benefits package, housed in a UVM Extension office where space is available. The position starts on or about January 6, 2025, and is fully funded through September 2026. It requires a bachelor’s degree in an agricultural field, four years of experience working in applied agricultural education or outreach, plus experience with project management and reporting. Experience with federal and/or state grant programs is desirable.
