Food system organizations and stakeholders prioritize racial equity and actions to eradicate structural racism, are accountable to Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), and support BIPOC participation and representation.
Goal Description
Goal 15 focuses on the need for organizations, businesses, institutions, government agencies, funders, capital providers, and other stakeholders within the food system to actively work to eradicate structural racism, which includes empowering BIPOC leadership, representation, and existing BIPOC led initiatives, food and farm businesses, and organizations through increased funding, access to financial and social capital, and persistent allyship.
