Salvation Farms Enters The Harvest Season
This spring, as farmers were plowing and planting with the harvest in mind, Kayleigh Boyle joined Salvation Farms’ team as Gleaning Coordinator to serve Lamoille Valley farms and eaters. Salvation Farms has been gleaning the valley for years and like all seasons, need volunteers to help them harvest, sort, box, and deliver the valley’s fresh but unsold produce to our neighbors who rely on the region’s food shelves and community meal programs. Goodrich Farm Receives National U.S. Dairy Sustainability Award for Regional Partnership to Create Renewable Energy
Goodrich Farm has been recognized with a 2021 U.S. Dairy Sustainability Award for Outstanding Dairy Farm Sustainability. The farm was one of three farms chosen nationally to receive the award and was selected for its many sustainable initiatives including its role in a unique regional partnership to create renewable energy, recycle food waste, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the creation of one of the largest on-farm anaerobic digesters in the U.S. Read More

Salvation Farms Aid; a Benefit Concert - Come On Out!
Salvation Farms’ Aid is back! On Sunday, June 13th at Camp Meade in Middlesex, Salvation Farms will hold its second annual benefit concert. Gates open at 11:30, music starts at 12:30, a $30 show, free for those under 12. Inspired by Farm Aid, Salvation Farms’ Aid features some of your favorite local musicians covering national acts. This year’s line-up includes: Rik Palieri covering Pete Seeger, Beg Steal or Borrow covering Del McCoury Band, Abby Sherman and The Way North covering Susan Tedeschi, Blues for Breakfast covering The Highwaymen, Mr. French covering Led Zeppelin, and Craig Mitchell covering Prince.
