Vermont Agriculture Development Program (VADP)

The Vermont Agriculture Development Program (VADP) is a joint initiative between VSJF and the Vermont Farm Viability Program at the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board. VADP supports the growth and long-term success of value-added agricultural enterprises based in Vermont. The program provides venture coaching and technical assistance to strengthen the capacity and serve an expanding market for Vermont food. Entrepreneurs work with the VADP team to build markets, improve operations, plan new initiatives, and access the capital needed to grow. VADP provides critical venture coaching to a small number of select businesses each year to help them obtain the right match of growth capital (e.g., debt, subordinated debt, convertible debt, equity, royalty financing) for their size, scale and stage of business.
